Mbikudi Brexit Import Fund

On 31st December 2021 the transition period for UK to leave the EU ended.


We would like to take this opportunity to thank our international customers for their continued business, and to provide reassurance that Mbikudi is committed to supporting all international customers post Brexit.

Mbikudi has created the Brexit Import Fund to prepay or refund our customer’s import and duty tax costs. The fund is funded by Cash back from European purchases. 

Mbikudi is a social enterprise established to manufacture natural hair and skin care products in order to offer confidence and skills building workshops to women and children from ethnic minority and low-income backgrounds. We aim to improve the image and wellbeing of African, Caribbean and mixed women battling with isolation, lack of confidence and depression. Through a holistic approach, we are able to identify the barriers and provide long lasting effects.



Q: Where do I apply for the Mbikudi Brexit Import Fund?

A: It is a simple application that takes only 2 minutes to complete.

Q: When does the Fund open?

A: The Mbikudi Brexit Import Fund is available from the 31st January 2021

Q: When is the Fund closes?

A: The Closing date of the Mbikudi Brexit Import Fund is 30th June 2021. Depending on availability of Funding.

Q: What can I claim for?

A You can claim for Importation fee liable before Delivery of Mbikudi products purchased from only.

Q: Who is eligible?

A: A person who has made a verified Mbikudi purchase. You can only claim it back once per order. This offer is not available to distributors.

Q: Can I claim for unlimited orders?

A: It may be subject to a fair usage policy. It will be applied on a case per case basis.

Q: Can I have a refund after claiming Mbikudi Brexit Import Fund?

A: Claiming the Mbikudi Brexit Import Fund will invalidate your refund policy.


Q: I am based within the EU. Will I incur any additional costs when ordering from Mbikudi?

A: No. Mbikudi will absorb any such costs until the 30 June 2021. There will be no import duty or additional taxes to pay. Mbikudi will be paying for or refunding import fees on all our parcels. This is put in place until We have local distributers in your country or near you.

 Q: I received an invoice from the postal service called duty tax or importation fee. What should I do?

A: You need to notify us directly. You may need to Pay the fee, keep a receipt and keep the proof to reclaim your costs.

Normally our delivery partners are able to send us the invoice directly but not all service providers can honour it. As a result, we have put in place this refund form to help all of our customer.

Please note that it is the customer's obligation to pay the import and duty tax on foreign import. However, as a social enterprise, Mbikudi has put in place the Brexit Euro. Fund to cover import and duty tax for verified Mbikudi purchases between the 31 January 2021 to the 30 June 2021.


*Mbikudi reserves the right to limit this program once funds run out. Any abuse to this fund, may invalidated your claim and may be prosecuted.
